Patricia S. - Only continued reading it because I had paid money for it. Not worth time or money unless you get a thrill from the CONSTANT recitation of the f-word, used as every part of speech throughout the book. Writer needs a vocabulary. Who edited, published, and printed this?? I would call it a foul- mouthed, vulgar fairytale.
Judith W. - It was just okay. The author tries to keep the reader guessing as to "who done it," but the plot is just not very believable, and the characters are not well-developed--one-dimensional and they never change. Finally, just a personal note--I live in the South, and I know plenty of wealthy 30-40 something well-to-do women similar to those described in the book (but not nearly as vapid). They would never use the "f word" to the extent that it's used in this book. Occasionally, maybe, but... constantly peppering their conversation--absolutely not.
Becky C. - A little off the wall but keeps you listening.
Donna N. - I really enjoyed this book. Using different people to narrate the characters brought it to life.
Roger W. - I don’t read or listen, or even start books that have 2 F and 1 A words in the first 3 minutes of the story!!! I don’t use those words or listen to writers that have a vocabulary that limited!! So do not send offers of that genre!! Sincerely and thank you. Roger Wolcott
