Average Rating:
The book was interesting in the sense that it moved along, but the main character was disturbingly alcoholic and dysfunctional. The other characters were no better. There was no way to connect with any of them. And, unfortunately, the storyline was implausible and contrived.

This is a different type of mystery. The protagonist is à flawed person whose past is filled with trauma and alcoholism. He tries to find peace in a remote village in
England, but gets caught up in solving the mystery of a man who disappeared 20 years ago. It was hard to put this story down.
